She hit the water with a resounding CRASH, and then she began to sink. Blue rushed around her, everywhere, grabbing at her skirt and her hair. She tried to fight against it and shove her way to the surface, but her sodden dress and swollen skin was too heavy. So heavy.
She pushed and pulled with all her might. But she could not fight the heaviness that weighed her down, like a pile of bricks on her chest.
Black swam into the corner of her vision.
It was too late.
The heaviness was winning...
